Kate Love-Jacobson serves as Vice President of Training of the High Performance Government Network, where she is responsible for guiding government leaders and their staff through strategic performance planning efforts, including: designing and delivering leadership, management, process improvement, and technology training, and coordinating and facilitating workshops to help local governments reduce costs, improve processes and drive high performance.

Kate has 24 years of experience in local government, most recently as Professional Development and Quality Enhancement Manager for the City of Fort Wayne, where she was responsible for creating the city’s professional development program and integrating it with the overall performance improvement efforts.  Kate designed and delivered employee training in leadership, management, new employee orientation, and department/division retreats.

Kate has designed and is currently delivering a Certified Public Manager training program, accredited through Ball State University, providing management and leadership skills training to municipal officials.

Kate has designed and facilitated process improvement training programs for numerous organizations, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training, Action Workouts, and Process Mapping.

Kate is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Action Work-Out Coach.  She is certified in Human Performance Improvement methodology and WorkStyles Personality Assessment interpretation. She is a member of the Association of Training and Development (ASTD) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
